General Information
RAGBRAI registration is now open! There are some important changes this year.
- RAGBRAI will not allow transfers of your registration to another person.
- The refunds on cancellations are decreased beginning 3/1/2025 and reduced by 25% every month after.
- There will be no refunds after 6/1/2025.
- Registration for weeklong tags ends 6/11/2025.
- Registration packets will be shipped individually to each RAGBRAI registrant.
- RAGBRAI is offering an optional protection plan that can be purchased during registration. It is only offered during registration and cannot be added at a later date.
Follow the steps below to register with RAGBRAI and with HBA.
Cost for week-long riders
RAGBRAI FEES
Early Registration: $230.00 (November 15, 2024 - December 31, 2024)
Tier 1 Registration: $250.00 (January 1, 2025 - February 28, 2025)
Tier 2 Registration: $275.00 (March 1 - March 31)
Tier 3 Registration: $300.00 (April 1 - April 30)
Tier 4 Registration: $350.00 (May 1 - May 31)
Late/Non-Refundable: $350.00 (June 1 - June 11)
All RAGBRAI registration fees are paid directly to RAGBRAI when you register on their website. Sales tax, packet mailing fee, optional protection plan and processing fee are added to the registration fee.
You may purchase RAGBRAI merchandise on the website. HBA will not be offering customized jerseys this year.
HBA Fees
$775.00 (full price when no participation points are available)
$475.00 ( when a max of 300 participation points are applied)

HBA registration fees can be paid online at the time of registration or you may mail a check.
Cost for daily riders
RAGBRAI DAILY FEES
Purchase daily wristbands from RAGBRAI on their registration page.
Early Registration: $45.00 (November 15, 2024 - December 31, 2024)
Tier 1 Registration: $45.00 (January 1, 2025 - February 28, 2025)
Tier 2 Registration: $50.00 (March 1 - March 31)
Tier 3 Registration: $60.00 (April 1 - April 30)
Tier 4 Registration: $65.00 (May 1 - May 31)
Late/Onsite Registration with no refund: $70 (June 1 - June 11)
HBA DAILY FEES
$80.00 per night for accommodations (can use $40 in points/night)
$100.00 Transportation, Cedar Rapids to start (priority is to weeklong riders).
$50.00 Transportation from end town to Cedar Rapids, IA
Steps to follow to be considered for RAGBRAI with HBA
Register with RAGBRAI
- Go to the RAGBRAI registration page to purchase your weeklong or daily tags.
- Select Hawkeye Bicycle Association in the Team box. Begin typing Hawkeye Bicycle Association in the Team dropdown list and it should pre-populate with our club name.
- Use the password Hawkeye8946.
- Pay RAGBRAI directly for your RAGBRAI tag and any clothing items you wish to purchase. There will be no HBA customized jerseys this year.
- RAGBRAI will mail the registration tags directly to each rider.
Register with HBA
- You must be a member with dues paid for 2025 to participate with HBA on RAGBRAI.
If you are not a member, go to HBA Membership to join.
If you are a member but haven't paid your 2025 dues, login to the HBA website and pay your dues online.
- Complete the registration for the HBA RAGBRAI calendar event on the HBA website and pay the fees either online or mail a check made out to HBA.
- Download and complete a HBA RAGBRAI rider waiver and accommodation form from the HBA website.
**Each rider will need to complete and sign their own form.
- For Minors only, print a copy of the Minor's Waiver.
Sign, date it and submit it the accommodation form.
- Mail your waiver/accommodation/transportation form and minor's waiver if applicable, and check (if you didn't pay online) to:
