Weekend Bicycle Rides June 23, 24, & 25
Friday's ride (6/23) and Sunday's ride (6/25) originate at the Whistlin Donkey Campgrounds, 111 North Main Street, Woodward, IA 50276.
Saturday's ride will originate at Terra Park, 6400 Pioneer Parkway, Johnson, IA 50131.
Signups and introductions for all rides will be at 8:45 AM. Rides start at 9AM. These are “member only” rides.
Friday’s ride will be to Ankeny, on the High Trestle Trail. About 50 miles.
Saturday’s ride will be to Easter Lake, (Southside of Des Moines). We will ride the Trestle to Trestle, Inter Urban, Neal Smith, and Carl Voss Trails. We will also ride to Water Works Park and Grays Lake on local Des Moines Trails. About 40 miles.
Sundays ride will be to Huxley. We will ride the High Trestle Trail and Heart of Iowa Trail. About 40 miles.
Each ride will include a lunch stop and several regroups.
The option to ride across the High Trestle Trail Bridge at night is not an official ride, and will be up to the riders to plan. Please bright a bright white light for bike front and red light for bike rear, if you plan on doing this ride. The bridge is only 2 miles from Woodward.

Some of us will be camping at the Whistlin Donkey Campgrounds, in Woodward. If you would like to join us:
