Full Moon Ride – Sat 3/23/2019

With the good weather forecasted for this weekend, I am leading a full moon ride this Saturday (March 23^rd.). As there is a possibility of south wind in the evening, I would pick a route going south first (with tailwind coming back). We will meet at CVNT at 5:30 PM and ride to Downtown and have dinner at Parlor City Pub & Eatery (1125 3rd St S). One option is to stop just there and the distance from CVNT is 7 miles and 14 miles round-trip; the other option is to keep going and stop wherever the flood water covers the trails. We will have several regroup stops along the way – before crossing J Ave (and I-380), and at NewBo. We should be back at the trail parking around 8:30 PM. The weather is supposed to be good and the temperature in the lower-40s and partial cloudy

This ride is a HBA sponsored social ride and it will be enforced at a leisure pace. Per tradition, anybody who passes the ride leader or his designee will be responsible for buying the first round of drinks. Nobody will be dropped. Don’t forget to bring lights and warm clothes.
