Hawkeye Bicycle Association (HBA)

Hawkeye Bicycle Association (HBA) is a non-profit social club that promotes bicycling safety and advocates bicycle friendly communities, roads and trails, as well as bicyclist rights.

In support of our mission, HBA is currently matching individual HBA member contributions to two projects:
      Linn County 'Share The Road' Signs
          and
      Cedar Valley Nature Trail Paved Extension.
Linn County Trails Association LCTA is coordinating tax-deductible contributions to both projects.
Hawkeye Bicycle Association will match the first $2500. of members' contributions to each project.

HBA sponsors regular, organized rides between April through October, and "special" monthly rides from November through March.

HBA’s popular “Swine Trek”, featuring four supported rides from 25 to 100 miles, is open to the public and is hosted by HBA volunteers. 

HBA sponsors santioned bicycle racing events from April through August at the Hawkeye Downs stock car “Oval” in Cedar Rapids.
